Ms Phua's laksa is also known for having just the right amount of mackerel and assam flavours seeping into the soup - so much so that she has loyal customers who visit her stall regularly. Just one scroll through the store's FB page and there's no denying it!

In a Facebook post by Ms Phua on 18 June, she mentions, ''Thinking that COVID-19 will severely affect my business, but I'm thankful to my troop of loyal customers turned pals.''

You can also choose to accompany your bowl of laksa with a bucket of fresh cockles! Known for their larger than normal size, you won't get bigger cockles anywhere else. Dip them Ms Phua's special home made chilli sauce to taste the saltiness of the sea with an extra kick of spicy chilli for the perfect meal!
