Lobster fans, it's time for a celebration. The moment you've been waiting for is here! That's because you can now indulge in halal lobster rolls right here in Singapore ?

From the ones who brought you the iconic halal Raclette cheese and salted egg yolk croissant, Flavour Flings has just launched its lobster rolls (and more!) ? If you're a seafood fan, you'd totally love their new Chilled Crustacean Rolls menu which has Lobster Roll ($29.90), Crab Roll ($24.90), Shrimp Roll ($21.90) and Slipper Lobster Roll ($26.90) - also known as crayfish. HHWT had the privilege of trying them out last week!
Each serving of crustacean meat is tossed with salt, pepper and their special mayonnaise made using a secret recipe ?It's then served with a warm brioche bun. Although the meat is prepared earlier and then chilled, we could still taste its freshness. If you prefer your crustaceans to be served warm, this might be a little hard to get used to, but definitely still worth a try!
For those of you wondering about the price of the rolls, there's a reason why they are seemingly steep. That's because each roll has 80 grams of meat except for the shrimp which has 100 grams ? But since Flavour Flings is the only place selling halal lobster rolls in Singapore right now, trust us, you won't want to miss out on this!
What we really liked about all the rolls was the fact that the seasoning complemented the crustacean meat perfectly and didn't overpower the taste of meat. But of course, if we were to choose a personal favourite, it'd have to be the shrimp roll because it had chunky amounts of King prawns and it's also the most value for money.
The best part is, each roll also comes with a serving of Garlic Parmesan Fries which is exclusive to this new menu. So, that's definitely a plus point!
