Earlier this year, we reported that there was finally halal food at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka. That's thanks to the launch of a Muslim-friendly menu at Red Lobster, a famous seafood restaurant at Universal City Walk. If you're visiting USJ anytime soon, you'd be happy to know that there's now another restaurant nearby with a Muslim-friendly menu!

Yes, that's exactly how we feel ? Located less than a 5-minutes' walk from USJ, the Top of Universal restaurant at Hotel Keihan Universal Tower has recently started serving a Muslim-friendly Steak Dinner Set Menu. As Muslim-friendly options in USJ are pretty limited, we're super excited about this news!

What's even better is that you can savour halal wagyu (from Japanese-bred cattle) sirloin steaks here ?They have two options of wagyu starting from JPY7700 - 100g or 150g. Though wagyu tends to be a little pricey, the experience of the tender and juicy meat melting in your mouth is not to be missed!
But don't worry - if you're looking for something more affordable instead, you can opt for their Aussie beef (JPY3850) or domestic beef option (JPY5500). The meat is all halal-certified by the Japan Halal Foundation and they use halal sauces too.

Not only will you be able to enjoy the yummy beef steaks, but the set also comes with several other items like prawn tempura, french fries, matcha mochi (matcha rice cake), fruits and more. Sounds pretty worth it for its price, right?
