Moving through the CBD just got a whole lot more exciting (and cooler!). There’s a brand-new underground linkway connecting Chinatown and Telok Ayer MRT stations called ICON Link @ Club Street.
Located under the Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, this vibrant tunnel is packed with over 20 F&B spots. We’ve done the legwork to find the Halal-certified and Muslim-friendly gems you can enjoy with peace of mind!
1. Ann & Kalsri (Inside Foodelic, #B2-34)
Tucked away inside the Foodelic food hall, Ann & Kalsri is a total game-changer for lunch. Known for their "Haha Chicken/Duck Rice," they serve up some of the best Halal-certified roasted meats in the area.
- What to try: The Roasted Chicken Rice ($6.80) is a must, but don't sleep on their Halal-certified Braised Duck Rice. It’s incredibly tender and a rare find in the CBD!
Halal Status: Halal-certified
2. Chara Brasserie (Mercure ICON, Level 2)
Want to treat the team? Head up to Level 2 of Mercure ICON.
Chara Brasserie is the newest Halal-certified international buffet in town, featuring live stations and a gorgeous Mediterranean-Asian spread.
- What to try: Their Roasted Baby Lamb and the chilled seafood station (Snow Crab, anyone?) are worth every calorie.
Halal Status: Halal-certified
3. Domino’s Pizza (#B2-05)

If you’re in a rush or need a quick bite before your next meeting, Domino’s is conveniently located right in the linkway.
- What to try: Grab a personal pizza or their signature Garlic Twists for a fuss-free meal.
Halal Status: Halal-certified
BONUS: Luckin Coffee (#B2-25)

Need a midday pick-me-up? Luckin Coffee is right in the heart of the linkway. While not a "food stall," their coffee is a CBD staple for many.
- What to try: Their famous Coconut Latte—it's creamy, refreshing, and the perfect walk-and-sip companion.
Disclaimer: While Luckin Coffee outlets in Malaysia received Halal certification in late 2025, their Singapore outlets are NOT currently Halal-certified by MUIS. They state their ingredients are sourced from Halal suppliers, but please consume at your own discretion.
BONUS: Mount Faber Nasi Lemak (#B2-11)

A legend since 1975, Mount Faber Nasi Lemak has brought its heritage recipes to the underground! If you’re a fan of coconut-infused rice that’s fragrant enough to smell from the escalator, this is your spot.
- What to try: The Chicken Wing Set ($6.80) is a classic, but for something heartier, go for the Lamb Curry Set ($8).
Disclaimer: Please note that Mount Faber Nasi Lemak is NOT Halal-certified and is NOT Muslim-owned. While they have a "No Pork, No Lard" policy, we recommend that our readers exercise their own discretion.
Whether you're dodging the rain or just exploring the newest part of the city, ICON Link @ Club Street is a great new addition to the CBD.
From the comforting duck rice at Foodelic to a grand feast at Chara, there's something for every appetite!
