Changi Village Hawker Centre has long been a favourite among Singaporeans. Be it after a cycling session or you're craving nasi lemak, this is one of the best places to score a delicious hawker meal! If you have not done so in a while, you should hurry down for a visit because it will be closed from Aug 15 for repairs and redecoration. Fret not, this closure is only temporary. The hawker centre reopens its doors three months later on Nov 15 ?

1. Mizzy Corner

We're starting the list with one of the popular stalls here, Mizzy Corner! They've been around since 1997 serving up some of the best nasi lemak in eastside Singapore! Known for their fluffy basmati and signature marinated chicken wings, they offer different sets of nasi lemak with various ingredients such as begedil, hotdog, otah, fillet and more! The prices here average between $3.50 to $5 per set, which is truly affordable! The sambal, you ask? It's not too spicy at all, and a little sweet, but it adds a whole lot more flavour to your nasi lemak ?

Expect fluffy, fragrant coconut-infused basmati rice paired with crispy chicken wings or deep-fried fish, with otah and sambal that gives you a subtle yet fiery kick in each bite. Drooling, aren't you? ?Reviews online have mentioned that they sell out fast by early afternoon, so do come in the morning!
