The White Label’s Halal Seasonal Spring/Summer Menu 

True to the essence of French cuisine, The White Label offers a seasonal change to the menus every half-yearly, to allow us one-seasoners to have a different slice of France right whenever we wanted to 😌 For their upcoming Spring/Summer menu, their head chef has decided to go heavy on seafood, which plays a huge part in French cuisine during warmer seasons. Ready to French it up? Let’s see what they have to offer. 
Begin your love affair with France with their starters: Pan-Seared Scallops. Using only Hokkaido scallops, which are known for their subtle sweetness and plump juicy flesh, the scallops are seared to golden perfection. These succulent scallops are then served atop a bed of ‘Som Tum’, a Thai-style green papaya salad. The dish is rich in savoury, sweet, spicy flavours, a perfect way to kickstart the sophisticated French taste you love  ☺️ Well, isn’t that quintessential spring in France? It’s time for the main course: Angel Hair en Bouillabaisse. Perfectly cooked angel hair pasta (an apt choice for such a dreamy season 😉), is served with rich seafood broth that’s made with traditional French techniques. Of course, in true The White Label fashion, all of their dishes have a unique, local touch. Their in-house Asam Pedas sauce is added into the mix. Pair it up with generous portions of juicy tiger prawns, scallops and mussels, and we bet you’ll be licking the bowl CLEAN 😋
The French are synonymous with desserts, so you definitely can’t end your spring trip to France (let us imagine please! 😭) without one. Le Fleur de Minuit is truly a heavenly delight to your taste buds. The cake is the pastry chef’s interpretation of Le Fleur de Minuit or The Midnight Bloom, a rare flower that only blooms at night. It consists of 70% Valrhona chocolate with a raspberry compote centre and rests on a matcha ganache tart base. Watch the ‘flower’ bloom as the hot chocolate sauce is drizzled over the dessert.
