Luckily for everyone, plenty of neighbourhoods in and around KL are filled with amazing cafes and that includes Subang Jaya! So if you happen to find yourself wandering in this side of the town, make sure to keep this list of halal cafes in Subang Jaya in your backpocket for a deliciously good time ?

1. Naj & Belle

Just a 3-minute walk from SS15 LRT Station, accessibility is definitely on Naj & Belle’s side. Situated on the ground floor of SS15 Courtyard, the cafe is better known for its signature Watermelon Cake that’s layered with fresh watermelon, cream and strawberries. It’s a refreshing twist to the usual fruit cakes which we can totally get on board with! If you’ve got a huge appetite for brunch, make sure to look forward to dishes like squid ink spaghetti, smoked salmon and avocado sandwich, and Ras El Hanout braised lamb shank.

When you’re here, make sure to cop yourself their to-die-for pavlova if you get a chance! Of course, there’s also no forgetting their bowls of pasta, local favourites and brunch options. If there was a place that truly put cafe-hunters to work, Jibril would definitely be one of them. Hidden from the public eye, this secret (now not so secret ?) cafe is cleverly tucked away inside Sangkaya, an ice cream shop, in SS15. At first sight, it may not be obvious. But look closely and you’ll spot a hidden door that leads you into a dimly-lit Gatsby-esque space decorated with wooden furniture and antiques. Once you’re seated, dive into its flavourful menu of Asian and Western cuisine that has dishes like salted egg butter chicken, New Zealand beef ribs and fish and chips.
