There's a new entry to the halal scene in Singapore, and we're totally here for it! Yess, this eatery offers authentic Japanese cuisine ? There's no questioning the quality or authenticity of food at Gyunion as the ingredients are sourced directly from Japan, regionally and locally. Plus they create their own house blend from scratch so there's really no other place that will taste quite like Gyunion's food ?

Priding itself on ensuring that you can savour the flavours of Japan in every bite, Gyunion offers an extensive menu! Kick off your gastronomic adventure here with their signature Curry-Don Chicken ($7.50). Their house-blend chicken curry with potatoes and carrots are served with short-grained rice. Alternatively, you can opt to have your curry with noodles ($7.90) ?

Curry lovers cannot miss out on the Curry Gyu-Men ($8.90) here. Thinly sliced beef on thin noodles in a curry flavoured beef broth sounds like the perfect comfort food, especially for those who needs a perk-me-up ? Add the onsen ($1) or ajitsuke tamago ($1.50) to your bowl to complete your Japanese experience!

If you're not a fan of curry, try their signature Gyu-Don ($7.90). The savoury and sweet thinly sliced beef and onions on rice is bound to make you drool ?

And of course, a Japanese eatery would not be complete without some cold soba noodles with their house tsuyu dipping suace ($4.90). Choose to spice up your soba with real crabmeat, Japanese spring onions and nori ($7.90).

Tempted? Well, you should be! The best part is that you can savour authentic Japanese food without blowing your budget as their food is affordably priced ? So be sure to head down on any weekday (yes, they are only open on weekdays) to try this eatery out for yourself!
