The Singapore Chinese Orchestra's performance promises to be a breathtaking journey through time, using music to narrate the captivating history of Singapore as a bustling port city. Engaging workshops and talks will delve into the intricacies of maritime heritage, giving you insights into the rich tapestry of Singapore's past!
Light Projection

The annual light show has an interesting story to tell! Watch how science-fiction aesthetics transports you to the 14th century and share stories of Singapore's history.
If you're looking to be right in the heart of the action, head over to the SMU Campus Green – that's the main festival village, folks! You'll be part of the buzz, the vibe, and the awe-inspiring artistry that is "700 Years."
Waterloo Street Stories

You can catch performances by up and coming local Singers when you explore the precinct! This is the best time to show your support for local talents and dance groups.

Make sure you properly explore the area from Bras Basah to Bencoolen because you'll find lots of hidden art pieces (make sure you look out for the purple Singapore Night Fest balloon!).

Unfortunately, there aren't many halal-certified food options at the Festival Village.
You can enjoy Muslim-friendly sweets like soft serve, crepes and much more! Be sure to look out for Softnade (known for their halal meatball at Bazaars), one of the only halal-certified vendors at the event! We recommend ordering their Festival special - Xin Jiang Meat Skewers ($8) - you can choose between Lamb or Chicken skewers or both.
