While Singaporeans didn't get to experience the usual Geylang Serai Bazaar during Ramadan 2020, there's a brand-new halal market happening in December 2020 that you won't want to miss! ? Located at The Grandstand in Bukit Timah, MakBesar's GRANDBITE Year-End-Market gathers the best halal treats and Muslim vendors to give you an amazing way to celebrate the new year.
P.S. GRANDBITE has been approved to take place, and is implementing appropriate safety and hygiene measures to keep vendors and attendees safe!
Happening every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3 Dec to 3 Jan, you'll be able to find some of your favourite halal goodies here in one convenient location. Popular names like Deanna's Kitchen and Yummy Takoyaki will be having their own stalls, and Deanna's Kitchen will even be releasing new items throughout all 5 weeks of the event! ?
P.S. Deanna's Kitchen won't be serving their signature halal prawn mee - but you can yummy seafood shellout from their stall!
There will be other goodies like Mango Bossku's cheesy Korean-style hotdogs, and Hyda.Co's freshly flame-grilled otak-otak. ? Perfect for a weekend treat!
P.S. Not all vendors will be there for all 5 weeks so do check Mak Besar's Instagram for more updates.
If you're not feeling hungry while you visit, don't worry because there are lots of Muslim vendors selling non-food items too! Brands like Pearlista, DYXY Cosmetics, Hanan Amada, and By Hani SG will be peddling their wares so you can look forward to stunning shawl designs, Muslim-friendly makeup, and more. ?
With 2020 coming to a close, this market is the perfect way to support your local Muslim entrepreneurs! Plus since it's happening over 5 weeks, you have plenty of time to arrange for a market date with family and friends. ? Stay tuned to their Instagram where more vendors are being revealed.
