Planning a nature retreat in Malaysia is always a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. However, not everyone is a fan of roughing it out in a tent or with minimal facilities, so here's where glamping comes in!

Surrounded by lush tropical jungles and serene rivers, there are many glamping spots in Malaysia to discover with your loved ones. If you want to get back to nature, we've rounded up some of the best places to go glamping in Malaysia! Before that, here are some things you should know:

Things to know about glamping in Malaysia

  • Glamping is a term derived from the combination of 'glamourous' and 'camping'
  • It allows travellers to experience the outdoors without giving up their creature comforts.
  • In Malaysia, amenities and facilities can differ between glamping accommodations. Some may have Wi-Fi and daily cleaning services, while others may not.
  • While some spots offer full meals and lodging, others may only provide breakfast, with options for arranging for additional meals.
  • Do check carefully with the resort you plan on staying at for their facilities and whether they meet your needs!
