Feasting at a halal buffet in Singapore with your loved one just sounds like the dream plan right now. In case you haven’t heard, the kitchen at Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road is now halal-certified, including its five live food stations! Inspired by Singapore’s botanical florals and use of natural materials, the all-day dining restaurant is the next go-to spot for a buffet.Check out what the buffet has to offer here! ?

From 21 July till 31 October 2021, Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road is having a themed buffet dinner, which consists of Barbeque Wednesday and Thursday, as well as Seafood Friday and Saturday. Dig into the authentic local flavours with a modern twist as you devour dishes like Prime Rib, Sambal Clams and more ?

Featuring barbecue-themed dinners on Wednesday and Thursday, meat lovers can enjoy the Prime Rib - it is slow roasted and served with onion and you can take your pick of black pepper or brown sauces. For the best Australian rack of lamb, the Lamb Rack is skillfully grilled to perfection and also enjoyed with Ginger’s sauces. Don’t leave before trying the A4 Wagyu striploin in the juicy and tender Wagyu Beef Steak too! If that’s not enough for you, get the Pulled Beef Brisket Slider for a one of a kind melt-in-your-mouth pulled beef brisket that is sous vide for up to four hours in a Cajun spice mix.

For seafood fans, the seafood themed dinners on Friday and Saturday will be right up your alley serving the signature Crab Tahu Telor and Popiah with Thai Bamboo and Ayam Penyet Crust. Dig into the tahu telor with crab omelette, topped with thai herb salad and doused in chili crab sauce, or the crunchy bamboo shoot sprinkled with Ayam Penyet Crust.

The Seafood Pao Fan is a fan favourite; a bowl of white rice, crunchy fried grains, prawns, mussels and clams served in a rich seafood broth. For a stronger taste, the Spicy Thai Fish Burger consists of lemongrass, onion and Thai sweet chilli which gives the hand-made fish patty a nice kick of flavour. Not enough spice for you? Try the Sambal Clams which are plump and sweet flower clams fried with dried shrimp and onion sambal ?

If you're not planning to have the buffet at Ginger, the good news is that they have recently revamped their new a la carte menu! The extensive a la carte menu is a celebration of Singaporean flavours created by Executive Chef Vincent Aw whose passion for local food started from his younger days of helping his grandparents sell local delicacies.

Some of the recommended dishes are:

  • Popiah with Bamboo Shoots and Ayam Penyet Crust
  • Hainanese Chicken Rice
  • Crispy Chicken Cutlet
  • Beef Rendang
  • Singapore Chilli Crab
  • Durian Pengat

Though these dishes are familiar Singaporean favourites, you can be assured of quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. For example, all of Ginger's sauces are homemade!

P.S. While Ginger is open for dine-in, they deliver island-wide with an array of well-loved local favourites! Island-wide delivery is at $5. With a minimum spend of $100, there’s free delivery, too. So make sure to get to feasting ?
