Every day at 3PM, Epok Epok Central's fills their baskets with freshly-fried epok epok, along with local breakfast staples like nasi lemak. Eventhough Epok Epok Central offers breakfast delights, the draw here is their fresh epok epok which is the cause for long queues outside their stall even before it opens. ?That just goes to show how popular this store is, especially their epok epok!
The epok epok skin is super fluffy and crispy at the same time. The dough is actually very evenly smoothed out which makes the chewing experience very nice and enjoyable. ?The true passion for epok epok can be seen through the method of preparation because a pasta machine is used to manually roll out the pastry dough! It’s very carefully made!
Make sure you visit after 3PM if you’re hoping to get some epok epok because that’s the only time of the day that Epok Epok Central stocks up their shelfs. ?And you better hurry too! The queues can get really long even on a weekday.
If you manage to brave the lines and get to the front, you must try their Potato and Egg Epok Epok ($2 for 3 pieces)! Anyone’s whos had one will tell you it’s hard to find an epok epok with those fillings. ?Not to mention, Epok Epok Central’s are delicious and are stuffed to the brim with curry seasoned potatoes and egg. While they might be a little on the smaller side, the taste will definitely make up for the size!
You should also try their tasty Sardine ($0.50) and Potato ($0.50) epok epok which are equally delicious and also not spicy at all! ? So if you want something easy on the stomach or just something light to munch on, these are the ones for you.
