When it comes to finding halal Korean food in KL, it can lead us to delicious discoveries such as crispy Korean fried chicken, hearty bibimbap, yummy kimchi jjigae and more. If you've yet to find a halal Korean restaurant in KL that ticks all the right boxes, here's a place you should have in mind for your next meal!

EID Authentic Korean Cuisine is one of few halal Korean restaurants in Kuala Lumpur that’s a favourite among food lovers. Currently, they have three outlets that are located in Bandar Baru Bangi, Seremban Gateway, and Damansara Perdana.

Owned by Korean-Muslims Yu Hyunwoo (Saad) and Han Narae (Nadia Han), the husband-and-wife duo have been running the Malaysian branch since 2016.

Nadia reverted to Islam after marrying her husband, Saad who was already a Muslim revert with his family. While the Muslim lifestyle is different for a national Korean, she's still learning about halal food and prayers from the Muslim community through incredible faith and determination. Read more about her heartwarming story as she shares what it's like to be living in Malaysia.

The dynamic duo began their journey with a humble idea in mind, which is to serve reasonably-priced and healthy Korean lunch boxes. And that was how Unnie Doshirak, which is loosely translated to 'lunchbox sister' in Korean, kicked off. While these lunchboxes are no longer available in supermarkets, you can still order in bulk for family gatherings, parties, or group office lunches.

With the growing demand for affordable Korean food, the owners began to add more projects to their plate. And that is where their restaurant, EID Authentic Korean Cuisine came into the picture. Staying true to their roots, they serve halal authentic Korean food in KL, ranging from delicious bibimbap to kimchi rice ball!

If you're planning to have the meals delivered to your doorstep, browse their menu on Facebook to find something that'll tickle your tastebuds. Perfect for beef lovers, there's the original or spicy bulgogi, a traditional Korean-style grilled beef, that'll you find absolutely satisfying.

For fried chicken, take a bite out of yangnyoem fried chicken (sweet and spicy red sauce) or honey fried chicken that usually served with rice and seaweed soup. Trust us, it's a finger-lickin' treat!

Order on a rainy evening, and you'll appreciate their chicken kimchi stew more than your typical lunch day. Another dish to keep you warm on a cold day is the samgyetang, a popular soup that is boiled with ginseng, jujube and a whole chicken leg.

Munching on Korean snacks are also half the fun at EID. You might be thinking of ordering dumpling pancake or sweet and spicy soteok (sausage and rice cake on a stick), but there's another treat that you would love more.

We're talking about the special EiD corn sausage! Each chicken sausage is deliciously deep-fried with cornmeal batter and served with cheesy sauce and sugar. If you're craving for a savoury snack, this will be the one for you.

During the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Malaysia, EID Authentic Korean Cuisine will only be providing options for takeaway, drive-thru and delivery via Bungkus It. If you want to place an order, remember to reach out to them before you pick up your orders!

There's so much more to Korean food than just fried chicken. From the hearty flavours of bibimbap to savoury flavours of beef bulgogi, there's always a dish out there to please any Korean food lover. If you love having a variety of meals at your fingertips, dining at EID Authentic Korean Cuisine will be a Seoul-searching journey of flavours!
