1. Ah Tong's Durian Stall

Possibly the best pick to go and eat durians in JB, Ah Tong’s Durian Stall would provide you with the best durians they have which could fulfil your craving for durians. However, it sells out really quickly, so head down early!

Another well-known spot for durians, Ah Shui's Durian Stall regularly offers flash discounts (a quick scroll through their Facebook and you'll see prices as low as RM5 for a D13 durian!). Many of their promotions are only for a limited time, so don't think, just head down there and treat yourself to a FEAST!

6. Desaru Fruit Farm

The fruits are planted in the Desaru Fruit Farm itself. Take your pick from the wide range of fruits available, from jackfruits to guavas and to the king of fruits - the durian (you're in time because it's durian season now!). The farm boasts around 100 varieties of fruits and herbs; both seasonal and non-seasonal. You can also embark on different activities such as learning to select the best fruits and visiting the mini-zoo within the farm compound. Don't forget to bring some fruits home! ?

7. Haji Mohamed Durian

This might be one of the cheapest on the list; with durians starting from RM9 per kilogram! For this location, you'll need to trek into the Kampung Melayu Raya region of Pekan Nenas on winding dirt roads. To avoid disappointment, call them in advance to check if they still have durians left, and your journey will truly be worth it! There are a number of different varieties of durian available here, from the Kampung to the IOI, the Tembaga and Musang King, and so on. They also have other fresh fruit on hand, including bananas and coconuts!
