Good news, food lovers! The Korean food scene in Malaysia is about to get bigger with an exciting addition of your favourite street food, tteokbokki (yes, that famous Korean stir-fried rice cake!) ?

Get your tastebuds ready for Dookki! If you're familiar with the famous Dookki franchise in South Korea, you'll be happy to know that they opened their first Malaysian outlet at IOI City Mall Putrajaya ?

Dookki (meaning 'two meals' in Korean) will serve exactly as its name suggests! Walk into the restaurant and prepare yourself for a 90-minute all-you-can-eat tteokbokki buffet complete with free-flow soft drinks. For the unfamiliar, tteokbokki (cheekily spelt as topokki) is a famous Korean stir-fried rice cake that is served with many side ingredients and spicy chilli paste ?

To recreate the experience, the Malaysian outlet serves six types of tteokbokki that are air-flown all the way from their motherland, South Korea! That's not all, they also provide an array of fish cakes (air-flown from Korea too!), spicy and non-spicy chicken, seafood, tempura, vegetables and ramen to level up your tteokbokki experience! ?

There are three steps to your 90-minute all-you-can-eat tteokbokki buffet. The first step begins with a simmering pot of Korean rice cake where you get to select the soup base and sauce mixtures (ranging from non-spicy to super spicy) to enjoy them ?

Once done, you can add anything from fish cakes, mushrooms, vegetables and more seafood with your tteokbokki. Yes, and even ramen! ?

For the second step, they'll turn your tteokbokki leftovers into Kimchi fried rice (no wastage here!). If you have room for more, you can also order additional instant ramen to fill you up ?

If you can't resist a cheese pull, Dookki also offers two cheese options: a double cheese ring (that circles your tteokbokki pot) and a snow cheese (where they sprinkle soft cheese savings on top of the tteokbokki). The cheese upgrade comes with additional charges, so splurge if you can. Well, looks like we're never far away from authentic Korean tteokbokki after all ?
