2. Big Bad Wolf Book Sale

The largest book expo is here once again, with over 4.5 MILLION books available! Covering every single genre you can possibly think of and living up to the belief that language breaks barriers, books are even available in English, Malay and Chinese ?

3. Our Sanrio Times

Hello Kitty fans, this one’s for you! Come to Quill City Mall NOW till January 6th to enter the world of Sanrio’s most loved characters - Hello Kitty and friends. Touted as the largest Sanrio event of the year, this extensive exhibition features 100 classic characters and over 300 vintage items collected since the 60s.

Visitors can also expect 13 Sanrio-themed zones where they can take photos around the brightly-coloured collage of 100 adorable Sanrio characters. You can even check out the replica of the very first Hello Kitty merchandise on a display! Talk about nostalgia ;)

Parents with kids will surely love the larger-than-life Hello Kitty plush toy where they can squeeze in for a hug! The event director even joked that the 3.5 metre tall plush couldn’t even fit the cargo lift and walls had to be dismantled to bring in the crane!

4. Themepaktu Dinosaur Kingdom (Johor Bahru)

If you’re heading to Johor Bahru, a visit to Puteri Harbour is a MUST for a dinosaur kingdom awaits! Opened recently in November, the Themepaktu Dinosaur Kingdom is themed around prehistoric creatures where visitors can check out the various replicas of ancient animals like dinosaurs!

5. Pokemon Parade (Pahang)

Still having the Pokémon fever? Well, time to treat that with a real adventure at Resorts World Genting this month! From December 1st to February 28th, be among the first to catch 32 first-generation Pokémon figurines around SkyAvenue from Pikachu to Bulbasaur and Charmander!

Grab your friends and family and look out for the tallest Pokémon-themed Christmas tree in the world and catch Malaysia’s first ever Pikachu parade that will steal your heart! If that’s not enough, there’s a giant 6-metre Pikachu inflatable you can take photos with, surrounded by over 50 tiny Pikachu plushies.

6. Festival of Light and Motion Putrajaya (LAMPU)

8. Pesta Penang

They say you can't leave Penang without joining the fun at Pesta Penang in December! This time around, visitors can expect boxing and Muay Thai shows, Keris exhibition and even International Cat Show! ?
