It was a worthy long journey to get lunch all the way from my office in Ubi to Hong Lim Complex because I remembered that my husband told me about this famous Ayam Penyet stall which sells out very fast during lunchtime. So I finally tried it and it was really GOOD! Read on to find out where this place serving the best Ayam Penyet is!

Credit: Farhana Ayu The Nasi Ayam Penyet ($5) chicken was very crunchy as it was fried on the spot, their rice was fragrant and it's not the typical plain tasteless white rice. Also, the level of spiciness of their green chilli sambal is just right for my tongue that I had to ask for extra scoops of sambal. Usually, some sambal is either too spicy or not spicy at all which I don't thoroughly enjoy, but this one is perfecto!! ? $5 is a very reasonable price too.

Credit: Farhana Ayu The next popular food item is their Mee Siam ($3.00) which sells out very fast too!! The Mee Siam taste is slightly different from the usual Mee Siam which is usually quite sweet. I thought that this Mee Siam tasted more of Udang Kering/Dried Shrimps which is very flavourful. Dapur F. Faiz stall is very popular during lunch hours and it's best to go as early as possible. Do try the Sugarcane juice there too, it's $1.50 for a big cup! ????? Dapur F.
