Changi Airport’s First Aviation-Themed Food Court Is Finally Halal-Certified

Ever dreamt of savouring halal Korean, Japanese and Chinese cuisine all in one place?

Well, now you can do so at Changi Airport's first aviation-themed food hall, Terminal M ? Opened in January 2019 by popular food chain Ministry of Food, Terminal M at terminal 3 features delectable Korean, Japanese and Chinese dishes across 5 stalls. The best part is, it's finally halal certified! Here's what you can expect?

Want a taste of authentic Korean lunch box called "dosirak"? Head over to Hanssik & Cafe Papa and choose from a variety of meat options for your "lunch box" - from Chicken and Beef Bulgogi to Chicken Sausage (from $8.90). For the uninitiated, "dosirak" consists of rice with fried egg, seaweed, kimchi and your choice of protein. It's served in a metal box and you can shake it to mix all the ingredients before tucking into the appetising dish ?

For those of you who are dining in a group, Cafe Papa's Korean Fried Chicken platter (from $16.90) will be perfect! The chicken is fried to a golden crisp and then glazed with their in-house Korean sauce. Enjoy the succulent fried chicken with fries and Korean rice cakes ? Other yummy Korean dishes you can expect are Korean Army Stew, Jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), bibimbap, tteokbokki and more!

For a taste of Chinese food, head over to Yu Long Quan for their signature Singapore-flavoured Xiao Long Bao (soup dumpling, $13). Traditionally made with pork, the dumplings are filled with chicken instead and they come in 6 local flavours such as salted egg yolk, chilli crab, chicken bak kut teh (meat bone tea) and laksa. You can also get your fix of other dim sum and Chinese dishes like wonton mee, yong tau fu, fried rice and more ?

As if Terminal M's Korean and Chinese dishes aren't tantalising enough, you can also get your fix of Japanese cuisine here! Head over to Ten-ya for their delicious tendon (tempura rice bowls, from $10.80). Sink your teeth into crunchy prawn, squid or fish tempura with onsen egg or slurp up their piping hot soba for a satisfying meal!
