This service feature was rolled out on 12 December 2022 with passengers at Changi Airport being able to track their luggage with a personalised baggage tracker. ? Currently, the function is only available to 35 participating airlines departing, arriving or transferring at Changi! The feature is only available for flights at Terminals 2 and 3 at the moment. Some of the featured airlines include Singapore Airlines, Jetstar Asia, and much more!

If you’re travelling to or from Changi Airport, you can track the status of your bags and receive notifications if your baggage is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. You’ll be able to track your bag for up to three days after your flight with this function, which is currently on beta trial and is available on the iChangi app!

Tracking for arrival baggage will soon be available for flights at Terminals 1 and 4 by early 2023. If you’re still unsure of this feature, Changi Airport Group (CAG) mentioned that the baggage tracker feature was tested among CAG staff before the current public trial. ? CAG says the number of airlines that will offer this feature is expected to increase as they progress!

So, will you be trying this new tracking feature when you travel to or from Changi Airport? Keep your luggage safe and your mind at ease! SHARE this article with someone who’s travelling soon to let them know. ?
