Enjoying the outdoors with family and friends is a popular weekend activity for Singaporeans, so we're super excited that there's a brand-new cycling route in the east! The Changi Airport Connector covers popular attractions like Gardens By The Bay, East Coast Park, Jewel Changi Airport, and Changi Airport so you can enjoy the sights of the east (and even the city) in a whole new way. ?
The Connector runs from the south end of Changi Airport Terminal 2 to Gardens By The Bay for a total of 19km, linking the east coast of the country to the popular Marina Bay area via East Coast Park. If 19km is too daunting for you don't worry because there are various routes you can take! The connector between Changi Airport to East Coast Park is about 5km total which is more manageable. ?

GoCycling rental kiosks are also located along the route in East Coast Park so you can rent and borrow bicycles as you wish. You can even return the bikes at any GoCycling kiosk across the country so check out their kiosk map here to start planning your day out!

One attraction along the Connector kids will love is the Jurassic Mile which boasts 22 life-sized dinosaur exhibits and lots of dino facts! ? Located near Changi Airport Terminal 4, Jurassic Mile is just 1KM long which is perfect for a short and leisurely cycle or a brisk jog. Get creative with your poses - and listen out for the occasional roar from the exhibits!

Jurassic Mile is open 24-hours daily and has free entry for all visitors. ? If you plan to visit between 9AM-12AM on Fri-Sun, a booking is required in advance as it can get crowded!

One important amenity to check out along the Connector is HUB & SPOKE, located a short walk away from Changi Airport Terminal 2. HUB & SPOKE is a one-stop facility where you can rent bicycles, enjoy 24-hour bicycle parking, and even freshen up with pay-per-use showers and lockers! ? So you can head to Jewel Changi Airport for a yummy post-bike ride meal without feeling sticky and sweaty.

The facility also houses the Hub & Spoke Café which serves a variety of local and Western dishes. Do note that the cafe is not currently halal-certified and serves alcoholic beverages although it does not use pork or lard in any of its dishes. If your stomach is rumbling after a long day out, we recommend checking out the halal food at Changi Airport or enjoying a halal meal at Jewel Changi Airport instead. ? However the Cafe is still a great place to snap your #OOTD as it has lots of green spots and natural lighting around!
