You can’t visit Hong Kong without dropping by The Peak! With its amazing vantage point, you’ll be able to see the panorama of one of the best skylines in the world 😍
One of the best parts of going to the Peak is taking the Peak Tram that goes up to 47 degrees on the ascent! Riding the tram is a must-have experience, with Hong Kong’s skyscrapers getting ever smaller as you ascend to The Peak on this historic 120-year-old funicular railway.
You can also shop, take walks while enjoying the vista, check out Sky Terrace 428 for spectacular views, cosy up with your favourite stars at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong or take funny photos at the Trick Eye Museum! A trip up to The Peak will definitely be well worth your time.
#HHWT Tip: With the Peak Tram Fast-Track Combo by Klook, not only will you be able to skip the queues and board a special line for the Peak Tram (the line can get super crazy, trust us!), you’ll also get all your tickets to the attractions in advance! It’s the perfect way to save time and enjoy yourself instead of waiting in line😉

The “Pearl of the Orient” offers spectacular views of Hong Kong’s skyline, with a backdrop of iconic buildings like the IFC Two Tower where Batman: The Dark Knight was shot!
Victoria Harbour is beautiful during the day, but it truly shines at night as you can catch the nightly Symphony of the Stars, a light show that features buildings on the Hong Kong Harbour skyline light up for around 20 minutes daily from 8pm. The stunning spectacle synchronised to music and narration has even been awarded by the Guinness World Records as the largest permanent light and sound show in the world!
One of the best ways to enjoy the show is to go on a cruise on a traditional Chinese junk boat and watch the city’s skyline illuminate as you take in the sights!
5. Avenue of Stars
Stroll along the foreshore of Victoria Harbour to the Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong’s equivalent of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and take photos with the statue of legendary Bruce Lee!

Don’t forget to check out the movie-themed exhibitions and the mural depicting classic movie scenes at the Hollywood of the East.
6. Old Town Central
Hong Kong’s most historic neighbourhood, Old Town Central is where you’ll truly be able to experience the heart of the city.

Covering Hollywood Road, one of the first roads to have been built in the city, and the must visit Police Married Quarters (fondly known as PMQ), a shopping haven for local designers and artists, Old Town Central will surely charm you with its eclectic mix of tradition and modernity.
It definitely helps that there are so many Instagram-worthy walls and murals dotting the entire area, interesting architecture and lots of cafes to sit back and take in the cool vibes of the district!
#HHWT Tip: Wondering what are the stories behind these amazing pieces of street art?
Embark on an exciting walking tour (Central Street Art Walking Tour on Klook) to find out!
7. Dragon’s Back
Hiking in Hong Kong? Who would have thought! Although skyscrapers and bustling streets are what usually comes to mind when thinking of Hong Kong, a huge part of this amazing city state is covered with mountains, beaches and soothing greenery.

Even if your main purpose for visiting Hong Kong is to shop till you drop and to savour the best halal dim sum ever, taking time off to hike along the Dragon’s Back Trail, which has been named the world’s best urban walk, will give you a real taste of what Hong Kong has to offer.

Dragon’s Back is just a snippet from a much longer trail around Hong Kong Island, but it’s the most visually stunning and easily accessible part of the trail. You’re so close to the city but you’ll feel like you’re a million miles away 😍

If you’d like a guide to help you navigate the trail and lead you to the best spots to check out (including getting to the most picturesque beach to chill at after your hike!), Klook has got you covered with amazing tour guides!
8. Repulse Bay
If chilling at the beach is your kind of scene, Repulse Bay beach is the place to be to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It’s easy to forget that you’re in Hong Kong when you’re here!

After you’re done feeling the sand between your toes, check out the shopping scene or have a cup of coffee at a cafe. It’s easy to see why Repulse Bay is a favourite amongst locals and tourists alike!

#HHWT Tip: The resort-like destination can get quite hectic over the weekend, so do try to drop by on a weekday if you can!
9. Ammar Mosque Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre
Although this isn’t an attraction per se, you really (and we mean really!) can’t miss adding this into your list of must-go places in Hong Kong.
a) Because you’ll be able to experience what it’s like for local Muslims in the country, and make a new friend or two☺️
b) You can get the best halal dim sum ever at the Islamic Centre Canteen located here!
Hong Kong is also affectionately known as Dim Sum Land, so having halal dim sum here is definitely an attraction in itself!
Experience what it’s like to pray in a different country, have some authentic local dim sum and wash it all down with Hong Kong-style milk tea. Sounds like a perfect day to us!
10. Ladies’ Market
Last but definitely not least on our list is the Ladies’ Market – the ever popular night market that is every shopaholic’s dream😉
Stretching across a few streets and open till late at night, it’s a fun place to take a stroll and soak in the bustling Hong Kong atmosphere and check out the items on sale, even if you’re not big on shopping😊
