If you were disappointed about the closure of Jurong Bird Park, you'll be glad to know that they're back after rehousing themselves as part of Mandai Nature Reserve ? Now called Bird Paradise, the new bird park soft-launches on 8 May 2023! You can stroll around the new bird park and get a glimpse of how the birds and their carers are adjusting to their new home ? From seeing new species to partaking in the beloved bird feeding sessions, there's so much to see and do! Here's what to expect in the new Bird Paradise ?

For those who can’t wait to see the new Bird Paradise, there's a discounted price of $38 for adults, $23 for children (ages 3 to 12), and $20 for seniors for single-park admission during the soft opening period from May 8 to May 26, 2023! ? You can pre-order your tickets and any add-on events from 24 April 2023, with visit dates beginning on 8 May. However, from May 27 onwards, the ticket prices will cost $48 for adults, $33 for kids (aged 3 to 12), and $20 for seniors!

As soon as you step into the park, you'll be greeted by a beautiful 10-metre tall waterfall that was designed after the Madakaripura waterfall in Indonesia, in honour of the tropical rainforests in the region! Take the scenic path to the top of the waterfall beneath the curtain of flowing water where you can enjoy the cool mist before reaching the upper deck which houses the playgrounds and F&B options ?

Once you’re in, you can see a variety of the most endangered species in the world, including Black-winged Mynas and Straw-headed Bulbuls! Not only that but you can also watch the biggest population of hornbills under human care in the world, many of which are flying freely in some of the eight huge walk-through aviaries that are designed after various habitats from around the world ?
For those who love watching those thrilling bird shows, there will be two new bird performances - Predators on Wings and Wings of the World - that will take flight at Sky Amphitheatre ? The performances will follow a new format and content while also keeping some of the most beloved components from the prior Kings of the Skies and High Flyers events at Jurong Bird Park! How exciting is that?!

Better yet, you should look forward to participating in the feeding sessions, a beloved highlight of Jurong Bird Park, for $8 each session, as well as seeing the new species of birds up close ? These sessions include feeding sessions with Starlings at Starling Loft, the Pelicans at Kuok Group Wings of Asia, the Barbets and African Hornbills at Heart of Africa, and the Lories at Lory Loft ?

If you're visiting with kids, make sure to stop by Mandai Wildlife West's two anchor play areas which were modeled after the Sunda Pangolin, a native Singapore species! Your kids can explore The Pangolin Adventure and Pangolin Hideout where they can imitate the mammal's behaviour by climbing, sliding, and burrowing around the play area ?
