Bird Paradise Tickets

There is a current soft launch promotion (8-23 May), where tickets are at $38 (adults), $28 (kids), and $20 (senior citizens). Get your tickets now to enjoy the discount!

Must-sees

The park offers 8 different sections modelled after various habitats around the world, where you can find birds iconic to each area. Other areas you can check include Australian Outback, Mysterious Papua, Lory Loft, and Songs of the Forest!

Here are some you can look forward to:

Heart Of Africa

Look out for Starlings, African Hornbills and Barbets at Heart Of Africa! It’s recommended that you visit during their feeding time (9.30 am and 2 pm) when they’re most active.

Head over to the viewing tower, which brings you 15 metres above the ground. With this, you’ll get a “bird’s eye view” (literally) and listen to the shy birds that would usually fly higher!

As you walk to the viewing tower, look for the bridge, where you can step on musical notes to replicate the birds' sounds!

#HHWT tip: Listen out for the different whistles the zoo keepers use to call the birds for feeding. The best time to head here would be in the morning, when you can catch various birds flying in circles to start their day!

Wings of Asia

Visit Wings of Asia for a taste of Bali-inspired architecture! You’ll spot storks, pelicans and spoonbills in the shallow waters here! The aviary's design creates a comfortable and inviting environment for the birds, with a miniature of the Lempuyang Temple adding to the ambience.

Crimson Wetlands

The aviary is home to fabulous flamingoes and parrots - perfect for capturing memorable photos with that pop of colour! You’ll find the iconic 20-metre-tall waterfall here, a tribute to the original waterfall aviary at Jurong Bird Park.

Mandai Wildlife West and Kids Play Areas (Including a water playground!)

Visiting Bird Paradise with your kids? Your little ones will love the park's wet and dry play areas, perfect for kids of all ages! Egg Splash, the wet park, is equipped with water slides, spray and shallow pools - perfect for cooling off after a hot day! Don’t worry, there’s shower area for post-play clean up. While the little ones play, take a break in the outside sitting area.

If you forgot to pack swimsuits for your kids, check out the Central Plaza's playground, complete with a trampoline on the second level. Your kids will have lots of fun bouncing on the nets!

Penguin Cove

Don't miss the chance to visit Penguin Cove, home to the Gentoo Penguin, King Penguin, Humboldt Penguin and Northern Rockhopper Penguin. Explore two areas of the enclosure - the ground level, where the penguins roam and the underground area, where you can observe them swimming and diving. Take a break in the rest areas and learn fun facts about the penguins displayed on the walls. The lighting in the enclosure creates an immersive and unique experience for visitors!

Bird Paradise Shows and Show Timings

Learn more about the various bird species at the shows/animal presentations. Catch the exciting Predator On Wings show at 10 am and 2.30 pm and the Wings of the World show at 12.30 pm and 5.30 pm at the Sky Amphitheatre.

Bird Paradise Feeding Times

If you’ve been to the other wildlife parks in Singapore, you know how popular the feeding sessions are, and Bird Paradise is no exception. Get up-close with birds such as pelicans, parrots, Lories and Lorikeets Feeding and Cassowary Feeding during their feeding sessions! If you're interested in feeding times, check the official website for more information and remember to book your sessions in advance!

P.S. Proceeds from the feeding sessions will help to fund the park’s wildlife conservation efforts in the region.

HHWT tip: We joined in the African Birds' feeding session, and it was lots of fun! The birds may even land on your head or shoulder! If you’re visiting with little ones, the pelican feeding will be fun for them as you must aim at the pelican’s mouth to feed them!

Complimentary Shuttle Service

Don't worry about walking long distances if you're feeling tired because there's a convenient shuttle service available for you at Penguin Cove. This shuttle service will take you straight to Central Plaza, where you can easily access the playing area!

HHWT Tip: Before you leave, remember to check out the ice cream stall outside the shuttle service stop for some delightful treats perfect for cooling down.

Where to buy souvenirs?

Be sure to grab some memorable keepsakes from your visit to the park! You can find them at two locations:

The Penguin Cove gift shop offers adorable soft toys of penguins and other souvenirs like keychains that you can purchase as a memento of your trip.

Also, don't miss the Bird Paradise shop at the park exit. You can purchase mugs and other items to take home with you!

Halal Food

As you make your way towards the entrance, you'll notice a couple of halal eateries nearby. A&W, Pavilion Banana Leaf, and Old Chang Kee are just a stone's throw away from the park in Mandai West. Once inside Bird Paradise, you'll find that all the food and beverage options are without pork/lard, but they are not halal-certified. We recommend that you dine at your discretion.

Prayer Space

Don't worry about finding a place to pray, as the park provides multi-faith rooms for your convenience. The rooms are separated for males and females and even have a designated area for ablution. Remember to bring your sejadah and prayer garments as these items are not provided in the rooms. You can easily find the multi-faith room near the entrance, just beside the washrooms at the back.

Nursing Room

Don't miss the conveniently located nursing room with curtains and a hot and cold water dispenser in front of the washroom. It's spacious enough to accommodate a family, and the comfortable chair provides a relaxing space for nursing. Another nursing room is also available near Egg Splash.
