Where To Catch The NDP 2026 Fireworks In Singapore (with Halal Eateries Nearby)

For the first time in a decade, the National Day Parade returns to the National Stadium at Kallang. That means the fireworks now launch over the Kallang Basin, not Marina Bay, so your old go-to spot won't cut it this year. The NDP 2026 fireworks light up the sky on Sunday, 9 August, from around 7:30pm, with the finale around 8:10-8:30pm.

The closest, most direct view of the fireworks since it hugs the Kallang Basin right beside the National Stadium. It's the obvious pick, so expect the biggest crowds — come early!

Sitting directly across the water from the stadium, this promenade gives you wide, unobstructed views over the basin with the city skyline as your backdrop. There's also a suspension bridge for an elevated, over-water vantage point.

More spacious than the promenades, this open riverside green space is perfect if you're bringing the family and want room for a picnic mat. The fireworks sit a touch lower on the horizon from here, but you trade that for comfort.

A grassy area set slightly further inland, drawing noticeably smaller crowds than the waterfront spots. Good pick if you'd rather have breathing room than the absolute front row.
