Ever since the Circuit Breaker started, baking and cooking have become popular hobbies to pass the time at home. For some people, however, running a home-based baking business can mean something a lot more.

Mira Azman, who typically works as a personal trainer with Virgin Fitness, started selling home-baked goods during the Circuit Breaker to help raise funds for her mother's chemotherapy treatment. Her mother was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer shortly before Ramadan, and every sale of cookies, tarts and more goes towards helping with the costs.

Launched in early May 2020, Bakes by Puteri Impian sells chocolate chip cookies, pineapple tarts and more simple and yummy treats. ? The menu may change weekly depending on the availability of ingredients, but one thing's for certain - every item is made with love. ❤️

Order batches are open semi-regularly and the next batch will open on 19 Jun, 7PM for delivery on 21 Jun, 12PM - 8PM. All orders are made via an order form in the Linktree on her Instagram, no DMs, pre-orders, or reservations are accepted.

If you want to support her efforts to raise funds for her mum's treatment, do keep an eye on her Instagram for the latest updates as only 20 order slots are available per batch! The last order form sold out in just 5 minutes! ?
