If you’re looking to experience autumn outside of Tokyo and in the heart of nature, Hoshino Resorts in Karuizawa is the ideal place to do so! From now till 6 November 2022, Hoshino Resorts has set up an outdoor Autumn Library in its massive Plaza which will showcase around 500 books. ?
P.S. Karuizawa is a 2hr 30minute train ride from Tokyo! But the scenery and nature is worth the long trip.

The bookshelves of the open-air library were built by the Rebuilding Centre Japan in the city of Suwa, prefecture, a facility that collects and reuses old materials and tools. The bookshelves also work as a bench for visitors to sit on in between perusing the book selections! ? The Plaza itself will be adorned by fallen leaves against the backdrop of Karuizawa’s nature scene, so we urge you to grab a few pictures of the beautiful scenery.

Pay a visit to Hungry Spot Cafe located within the resort for a sip of their autumn specialty (which happens to be limited-edition too!) - Apple Ginger Tea made with local Shinshu apples!
