Artbox Singapore is back and this year they’ve got a whopping number of 400 booths! But wait – before you start thinking about the intense crowd, here’s some good news: Artbox 2018 is almost THRICE as big as the previous year!

Held from 25 - 27 May and 1 - 3 June at the Bayfront Event Space, this highly Insta-worthy container market is themed ‘Oasis’ this year and boasts a wide range of local and regional vendors.

Breathing fresh air into the variety of bazaars that have sprung up in the month of Ramadan, Artbox has plenty of halal food options to offer for your iftar too! So here’s our pick of the top 8 stalls that’ll make you want to visit Artbox ?

1. NaughtyBoyz

Ever craved for the mac ‘n cheese you see in your favourite American TV shows? Well, these 'boyz' got you covered. NaughtyBoyz is a home-based mac ‘n cheese delivery that puts a twist to this comfort food with their own special sauce! Having only set up stall in the Tampines Bazaar recently, you now won’t have to travel to the east for their cheesy concoctions!

They’ve even got Salted Egg mac ‘n cheese on top of their Original and Spicy flavours! ?

2. Saiko

Takoyaki’s almost like the quintessential market food, and these ones are undoubtedly saiko (the best)! Serving up Japanese street food realness, their takoyakis are served in sizeable portions with full bite-sized octopus – much like the ones you’ll find in Osaka! So be sure to save a date for Artbox if you’re ready to get ‘Saiko’?

3. BOO:EH

Thirsty after all that street food and exploration? Check out BOO:EH for a taste of their butterbeer! Popularized by the Harry Potter series, this refreshing beverage will give you a glimpse into the wizarding world of your dreams. All are served directly from a pint and topped with frothy butterscotch foam – offering you a truly magical experience ?

4. Yossakul’s Thai Kitchen

When you’ve got a pop-up market of Thai origin, having Thai food is definitely a must! Get your fix of Mango Sticky Rice and Thai Milk Tea at their booth, both of which have been said to taste so authentic that they’ll make you miss your past trips to Thailand ?

You can also feast on Beef Stew Noodles and Pad Thai among the other options available.

5. Hyde and Co.

A crowd-favourite at pop-up events, Hyde and Co. will fill your tummies with their signature Chilli Crab pasta at Artbox! If that’s your main dish, amp it up with sides of Twister or Truffle Fries and Maple Sesame Popcorn Chicken.

Round it all up with some good ol’ Root Beer Float and you’re all set! If you’re not in the mood for pasta, try their Bangers and Mash – jumbo cheese sausages served with mash in black pepper sauce.

6. Kanemochi

Cool down in the heat of the outdoors with Kanemochi’s Japanese ice cream mochis! Check out their wide range of flavours and savour the soft, irresistible textures typical of Japanese glutinous rice cakes. Once you’ve taken a bite, you’ll see why they’re worth the hype!

7. Sofnade

If you’ve visited some Ramadan bazaars, then you’ve surely seen these signature meatballs in a bucket! With their booth in Artbox, you won’t have to travel to the far ends of Singapore for these juicy delights ?

Their Classic Meatballs In A Bucket come served with a mouth-watering combo of cheese, cranberry sauce and mashed potato. If you’re a diehard milk tea fan, then you have to get their assorted milk teas in a bucket for a fix that’ll last you days!

8. The Raclette Factory X LEMONSTER

Who could ever say no to more cheese? The Raclette Factory will be serving French Raclette Cheese street food - you won’t want to miss out on these hot servings of sausages and baked potatoes topped with gooey cheese! ?
