What’s Happening?
This year, the festival unveils TAILORED: Bore & Stroke, a unique exhibition that explores custom culture in the automotive world, urban art, and fashion. Curated by The Block A Collective, it showcases works by talented artists like TraseOne, Metamo Industries, and Mad Rat Inc. Don’t miss the workshop by The Goodnight Gang, offering poster design sessions!
The excitement continues with open studios, where Aliwal Arts Centre’s (AAC) artist tenants welcome you to explore their creative worlds. Highlights include Avant Theatre and Language’s theatre workshops, an experimental music performance by weird aftertaste, and a one-of-a-kind collaboration between New Opera Singapore and urban art collective RSCLS.
Outdoor Thrills and Art in Action
Step outside to witness live graffiti painting by top regional artists like Studio Moonchild (SG), Mauy (TH), Waris (TH), and Spaz (SG/PH), transforming AAC’s walls into stunning murals. Feeling inspired? Try your hand at spray painting in RSCLS’ graffiti tryouts and leave your mark on this annual festival!
Explore Kampong Gelam on the D’TOURS walking tour, where murals and street art take centre stage, or head to the Creators Marketplace for unique artisanal finds by local creatives. Skate enthusiasts can join beginner-friendly skateboarding tryouts or watch an adrenaline-packed competition by SkateSG.
End with a Bang!
Wrap up the day with incredible dance and music performances. Groove with top dancers at THE REAL DEAL Showcase Ed. 03, curated by Darren “dt” Toh, or dance to live DJ sets by Red Kite Music. Adding a local twist, a roving DJ Trishaw will spread the beats throughout Kampong Gelam. End the night at the thrilling Sorry No Cure DJ party, featuring DJ Tze Char and Darren Dubwise.
