Steak might not be what diners think of when it comes to “cheap eats”, especially in KL. But thankfully, there happens to be a humble stall in the city, Stiq, that’s committed to serving affordable steaks for diners who aren't looking to burn a hole in their wallet!
Located just by the roadside in Wangsa Maju, Stiq has been around since August 2017 and caters to everyone from all walks of life. If you’ve been to Kaw Kaw Burger, you’ll most likely come across this street stall nearby.

This Muslim-owned gem has a variety of steaks but for RM27, the beef steak is a great bet that comes with baked potato, salad and mashed potatoes. Where else can you get a good, juicy steak for RM27? Order this, and you’ll be a happy camper!
What differentiates them from other steak places is that their meat dishes are pre-cooked in sous vide. Sous vide isn’t very common here in Malaysia but the technique requires the meat to be vacuum-sealed in a temperature-controlled water bath before grilling it upon customer’s order. 🤗
This style of cooking is said to retain the meat quality so that it becomes more juicy and tender. Besides offering lamb steaks and wagyu steaks, there’s also chicken and beef on the menu!
So, are you planning for a cheap yet classy dinner? Time to satisfy your beefy urge and go to this stall tonight 😏Halal status: Muslim-owned Opening hours: Open daily; 5PM-1AM Address: Jalan 4/27a, Wangsa Maju, 53300 Kuala Lumpur Contact: +6012 345 2844 Facebook | Instagram
