La Ville Lumière or should I say, the City Of Lights - Paris is rich with culture, literature, fashion, well-known designer bags (hint: Longchamp), artisanal pastry and ooo French boys! Being part of France, most of you may think that Paris will burst your bank. But trust me, you’ll change your mind after reading this, so go ahead and add Paris to your bucket list☺️

1. Free Walking Tours - Sandeman’s New Europe

If you're wondering how to explore Paris on your own, and fear getting lost in the process, we've got great news for you. Sandeman’s New Europe organises a free walking tour each day. With over 5 million travelers since 2004, the tour guides are definitely in the know about all things Parisian!

Stepping into the compounds of this mosque will transport you to another world - almost like Morocco! A fun fact is that during World War II, the Grand Mosque of Paris served as a shelter for Jews! The intricate design of the mosque's interior, however, seem to perfectly mask its history.

Here, you can get up close and personal with renowned authors - for free! Most events take place in their library, at their ground level or outside the bookshop?

7. Take a stroll at Luxembourg Gardens

If you’re looking for a quaint and relaxing place to relax in, Luxembourg Gardens is the place for you. It a 23 hectares garden built by the widow of King Harry IV.

On weekends, the park becomes a vibrant place for picnics, sports and families with young children. If you’re lucky, there might even be free performances at the gazebo!

8. Attend a fashion show at Galeries Lafayette

A fashion show in Paris for free? Yes please! Galaries Lafayette holds free fashion shows featuring the latest fashion trends. Though it's a small fashion show, it's an experience not to be missed.

The fashion show is 30 minutes long and runs every Friday at 3pm, so don't miss it!
