Do you hear that? It's the sound of people rejoicing because the March holidays are just around the corner? Most would now be frantically scouring the Internet for the best flight deals or swankiest hotels they can find (and afford?).

But if you're like me, you're probably stuck in sunny Singapore with seemingly nothing to do! Cue the aimlessly gazing at 4 blank walls and sighing in total boredom...

Notice that I used the word seemingly though? Singapore's actually packed full with activities and events happening in March that would appeal to both locals and tourists here on a weekend getaway! Here's 8 things happening in March 2017 that'll make your friends wish they stayed in SG?

1. Be enlightened at i Light Marina Bay

If you haven't heard of this amazing festival, I'm here to spread some light into your life? This month-long event features 20 sustainable, environmental-friendly light installations surrounding the Marina Bay Waterfront.

You'll be in awe of the sheer genius and innovation that went into the conceptualisation of these installations. Plus, everyone knows that a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and flashing lights make for a perfect backdrop for that hipster Instagram post?
