Makes: 45-50 cookies


A. 224g butter, 150g brown sugar

B. 2 eggs

C. 400g plain flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder

D. 340g chocolate chip cookies


  1. Place group A ingredients into a mixing bowl and cream until light and fluffy.
  2. Add group B ingredients gradually and mix well.
  3. Add group C ingredients and cream until fluffy.
  4. Add group D ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonful onto an ungreased baking tray.
  6. Bake at 160°C for 25 minutes.

These colorful cookies are a hot favourite amongst children and adults alike! With only five main ingredients and a 15 min bake time, this is a quick and easy recipe that’s perfect for any baker 😄

Makes: about 250 bites


  • ½ cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C
  2. Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  4. Add flour, salt and sprinkles and mix evenly. Press mixture and knead until it comes together.
  5. Press dough evenly into pan and let it chill for 30 mins.
  6. Cut into ½ inch squares. Bake for 15 mins until bottoms are lightly browned.

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup fine sugar
  • a pinch of salt


  1. Preheat oven to 120°C.
  2. Whisk egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, whisking well between each addition, until sugar dissolves.
  4. Continue to whisk on high for 3 mins.
  5. Pipe meringues onto a lined baking tray. Reduce oven temperature to 90°C.
  6. Bake meringues for 1 h 30 mins.
