With so many halal eateries in Singapore, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice. But fret not, we’ve prepared the ultimate iftar guide you’ll need this Ramadan. What’s more, many of these eateries will be having Ramadan specials so you better read on to find out!

1. Hararu Izakaya

Who says you can’t break fast with Japanese cuisine? Being Singapore’s first Muslim-owned Japanese izakaya, Hararu Izakaya has the perfect ambience you’d need after a day of fasting, and their selection of mouthwatering authentic Japanese food will keep you satiated.

One of the things that Hararu is known for is their charcoal grilled meat and seafood. If you’re a seafood lover, don’t miss out on their Surume Ika (grilled whole squid). This tantalising treat has just the right amount of chewiness and will leave you wanting more!

Don’t worry meat lovers, Hararu has got you covered too. Sink your teeth in their Gyu Nitsuke (stewed tender beef ribs) or indulge in their Wagyu beef selection. You can even have your grilled meat on skewers or what the Japanese call kushiyaki. We highly recommend their 8 sticks skewers if you want a taste of everything ?

If Japanese cuisine for you means sushi and sashimi, you’ll be happy to know that Hararu has just rolled out its maki and sashimi menu. Not to mention that Hararu Izakaya also serves your usual Japanese fare like udon and donburi (rice bowls). With almost every type of Japanese cuisine available at Hararu Izakaya, looks like you can definitely add it into your iftar list and have that hearty meal with your loved ones.
