Makan Simple specialises in Indonesian food for the soul, and it was born out of the owner’s love for travel and food. If you’re here for iftar, don’t miss out on their grilled meat dishes, which comes with rice, fried
tahu and
tempeh, and a serving of
kangkong belacan. Get a taste of their
Japit – grilled fresh black tiger prawns glazed with sweet and spicy sauce. The charred taste, appetising sauce and freshness of the prawns blends perfectly to give you a delicious treat you can’t resist!

Kampung-style Slow Braised Leg of Lamb, which is simmered for 16 hours, before it’s roasted and served with peanut gravy, spicy coconut, crushed peanut and warm glutinous rice in banana leaf. Keep your eyes peeled for their tantalising
