1. Broasted King

Looking to pick up a little something to go? Worry not! Broasted King serves halal Wisconsin-style fried chicken that’s available in a Snack Pack, Lunch Pack and Dinner Packs essentially allowing you to choose your preferred portion size.

The packs come with chicken tenders, garlic sauce and a drink. Other options include the Brioche Chicken Burger and Tortilla Wrap. And if you have children with you, there’s even a kid’s meal for them too!

2. Kailis' Fishmarket Cafe

Unwind and enjoy fresh seafood at one of the many fish and chips joints in Perth - Kailis Fish Market. The restaurant overlooks the Fremantle Waterfront so grab a table by the harbour to get a picturesque view of the fishing harbour while you chow down on your fried goodies.

If you’re with a larger group, we recommend sharing the Seafood Platter and the Fish and Chips Platter. ? The establishment serves chicken and alcohol, however, they have confirmed that the seafood items are fried in a separate oil and fryer so there would be no cross-contamination.

3. The Grill Shack Fusion Street Food

From burgers to shawarma and skewers, this place has it all! Located in the North of Perth, The Grill Shack Fusion Street Food serves dishes as mentioned in its name, fusion street food. 

Even though the establishment specialises in Lebanese cuisine, there’s also a whole selection of delicious comfort food like their Philly Cheese Steak Sub loaded with grilled steak strips, capsicums, onions and a heap of cheese. As for sides, they have Buffalo Wings, Sweet Potato and Regular Fries as well as Coleslaw Salad.

4. Lord Of The Fries

Most food places close early in Australia but not Lord Of The Fries, they open till late on Friday and Saturday from 11AM to 1:30AM. Known amongst the locals as the go-to place for when the midnight munchies strike, you’ll find quick bites and on-the-go foods like their delicious fries made from locally sourced potatoes available in a variety of cuts such as chunky or classic.

Looking for the perfect souvenir in Fremantle Market? Then you’re in luck! ? The Honeycake is a hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Newcastle and William Street. This traditional Czech honey-layered cake is filled with caramel and topped with fresh ground walnuts. The packaging comes in a neat bundle so you can bring it home a souvenir.

Halal Status: The cakes are vegan-friendly but do note that alcohol-free whole cakes must be pre-ordered as they are only available upon request. It is advisable for you to contact them via their offices directly 3 days in advance (we recommend a week!) to place your order.
