3. Pulo Cinta Eco Resort (Batumoito, Gorontalo)

Pulo Cinta means “Island of Romance”. The resort’s water villas are strategically arranged into a heart shape – giving everyone an unblocked view of the sea. Legend has it that the island got its name from a forbidden love story between the prince of Gorontalo and the daughter of a Dutch trader who would come here for their secret escape?

4. Maratua Paradise Resort (Kalimantan Timur)

Located on Maratua Island is Maratua Paradise Resort. A variety of corals and fishes can be found around the resort and there are also other spectacular dive spots around the island. Neighbouring islands include Kakaban Island and Sangalaki Island, which has its challenging cave dive, splendid schools of barracuda, a unique jellyfish lake and you can even get to see majestic Manta rays. Both islands are just a short boat trip away!
